Cynthia Decker
Cynthia Decker is the illustrator of Alley Oops by Janice Levy.
To coincide with the Winter Olympics of 2002, Cynthia illustrated Celebrate the
Fire Within (North Star Publications) which the Children's Literature Association
of Utah named to its "short list" of top 10 recommended books. Prior to that
assignment, Cynthia illustrated a series of picture books for Curtis Publishing, as
well as a book about bankruptcy and two books filled with projects for
pre-schoolers.
Although she studied art at one college and two universities, Cynthia considers
herself self-taught. Between universities, she worked in a large graphics studio for
the LDS Church. She is the mother of four children and lives in Modesto, CA.
