He illustrated The Three Armadillies Tuff by Jackie Mims Hopkins (Peachtree Publishers, 2002) and his illustrations have appeared in Cricket Magazine, Ladybug, Humpty Dumpty, The Washington Post, Knowledge U’s K12, USDA Forest Service publications, U.S. Humane Society publications, Washington Times and New Physician Magazine. Along with traditional illustration work, Scott also creates digital illustrations and animation for various clients including MCI WorldCom, Claritas, and Philips Electronics.
When not working on children’s books, he focuses on fine arts. His oil-on- canvas paintings are primarily figurative in nature and have been exhibited in Washington, D.C. and New York City.
